Starring American Scream Queens Tonya Kay and Tiffany Shepis, CRIMSON DANCE is an social-experimental 4-minute exposé about the importance of blood in our lives.
A primal and sensual dance is performed by a burlesque artist in an underground Hollywood cabaret to the delight of a blood thirsty audience, who watch in awe as she makes a splash to cure her ills. CRIMSON DANCE presents a conceptual burlesque performance with a twist that reminds the audience that blood can truly save lives.
“The idea of this film came to me through meditation, when I recalled the many blood transfusions my mother needed to survive leukaemia. In her memory, I wanted to create something artistic and provocative that would remind the viewers of the importance of donating blood for patients in need,” says writer-director Patricia Chica.
