The new poster for The Killing Of A Sacred Deer could be my favourite movie poster from this year so far
The Killing Of A Sacred Deer is the new film from the director of The Lobster and Dogtooth. Whether you liked Yorgos Lanthimos’, The Lobster or not, there is no denying that it was one of the most exciting concepts for an indie in years. Plus, it had a great cast featuring Colin Farrell, Rachel Weisz, Olivia Colman, and Michael Smiley.
Colin Farrell returns for Lanthimos’ new film. Barry Keoghan (Love/Hate), Nicole Kidman and Alicia Silverstone also star.
The Lobster was way different in comparison to Lanthimos’ directorial debut, Dogtooth. His new film is again, another genre, so I am nothing but impressed with his directing and storytelling ability
As I said in a previous article:
One of my favourite upcoming actors is young Irish actor Barry Keoghan. The guy left an impression on me ever since he was in the Irish gang-land series Love/Hate.
Reviews have started to emerge, and they have been solid. I am thinking The Killing Of A Sacred Deer is going to be one of the best films of the year.
