WHAT WE BECOME
New horror from Denmark, and the first of its kind. What We Become is a new viral outbreak movie about a small town that gets’s quarantined because of super-strain of the flu.
The film will focus on one family and the extreme lengths they will go to survive the night and more importantly, trying not to get infected.
We will be seeing a trailer for the film soon enough. A few stills and a small plot is all I have seen of the movie and that was some time ago.
This is Denmark’s first ever zombie production
Official Plot (IMDb)
A family of four is quarantined in their home as a virulent strand of the flu spreads into town and they are forced to the extreme to escape alive.
WHAT WE BECOME
NOTHING BAD CAN HAPPEN
I have been on the hunt since 2008 to find a movie that could affect me the same way that Martyrs did. I have watched countless movies and none of them seems to get in my mind the same way.
When I first viewed the trailer for Nothing Bad Can Happen, there was a quote at the end that said something like, “leaves you with the same feeling you got when you watched Martyrs for the first time”. That was all I needed, this was the film I had waited on for years.
I recently purchased this movie from Mexico and paid a small fortune for it. NBCH is a brilliant directorial debut that is based on shocking true events.
IN MY SKIN
This film could be a little too much for some people. The film is about a girl who becomes obsessed with self-mutilation. It starts off when she loses all feeling in one leg and begins to self-mutilate. She soon becomes addicted to harming herself.
She tries her hardest to hide her self-inflicted wounds from her loved ones and keep her dark addiction a secret. Things start to get even worse when she starts to mutilate other parts of her body- her addiction soon becomes uncontrollable
This film deals with addiction, the subject of addiction is quite hard to stomach but it is no different from any other addiction and this is the point that the film gets’ across beautifully, however horrific as it seems.
