"Oh, yeah. Here I am come, baby."....again...FINALLY!
In two years time we will see Tim Burton’s, Beetlejuice turn 30 years old. There has always been chat of a sequel but things really only started to movie forward in the last 2 years – we knew Winona Ryder was onboard and was more than optimistic that the others would follow but nothing was official.
I have been trying my best to keep you all up to date with it’s progress so I am pleased to confirm that according to Showbizspy, Tim Burton has now 100% confirmed the movie – Mr Burton said in an interview…..
The film is a go and has been approved by the Warner Bros. team, we have talked with the cast members we wanted for the film and they are all on board, this includes both Winona and Michael. We have the script in hand everything is in place all we need to do now is get ready to start filming
I am sure you will agree that Michael Keaton has re-vamped his career in the last few years. His roles in Alejandro González Iñárritu’s, Birdman and more recently, oscar winner, Spotlight have catapulted Keaton back into the land of the A-listers — and rightly so, both roles were exceptional! It’s going to be soooo good to see Keaton re-visit this character – it’s been nearly 30 years, I’m sure Keaton has a lot of new skills and will be able to give us a performance that fans of the original need while at the same time creating a whole generation of Beetlejuice fans
