Tom Hardy’s New TV Show TABOO Looks Impressive AF

Actor Tom Hardy will soon be dominating the small screen as well as the big in TABOO.

Taboo is the new series that everyone will be talking about soon. Tom Hardy (Legend, Locke, Peaky Blinders, Bronson) stars as adventurer James Keziah Delaney, a man who went missing in Africa and was presumed dead.

Hardy’s character returns back to the U.K a changed man looking for revenge on the ones who left him behind. Not only is it revenge he is looking for but also to start a huge shipping empire ( no doubt will create more enemies).

There is so many reasons that this series will work. I have listed most of them below..,.

1: Tom Hardy not only stars in the show but helped write the script.

2: Chips Hardy (father of Tom) is also listed as one of the main writers.

3: Steven Knight is also credited as a writer/creator (for those of  you who are unfamiliar with the name; Steven Knight is also the creator/writer of Peaky Blinders as well as directing Hardy in the amazing (but slow) Locke.

4: Sci-Fi maestro Ridley Scott lends his name as producer, more than likely under his Scott Free production company.

5: The series will be directed by two amazingly talented directors, both Scandinavian. Half  by Dane, Kristoffer Nyholm (director of The Killing) and the other half by Swede, Anders Engström (Jordskott) – that is some great talent!!.

6: Musician, Scroobius Pip has been cast in the series (wtf?)

7: Last but not least; Taboo co-stars an actor called Leo Bill. This guy gave me one of scariest and most realistic performances I have ever witnessed. The film I am talking about is called The Living And The Dead. If you’re a regular on here then you will know what that movie means to me. If you’re not a regular, then why?? –  go and check out that movie!.

The series is a mini series and will only consist of 8-episodes with each director tackling 4-episodes each.

Taboo will also star Oona Chaplin, Richard Dixon, Jonathan Pryce, Danny Ligairi and David Hayman. For full cast and crew please check link.
