KRAFTON INC is a South Korean collective of independent game development teams responsible for various entertainment properties.
The most well known is PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG).
PUBG is a game based on previous mods that were created by Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene for other games.
Inspired by the 2000 Japanese film Battle Royale and expanded into a standalone game under Greene’s creative direction.
In the game, up to one hundred players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and equipment to kill others while avoiding getting killed themselves.
The available safe area of the game’s map decreases in size over time, directing surviving players into tighter areas to force encounters.
The last player or team standing wins the round.

They are expanding the PUBG Universe with a full episode of the docu-series “Mysteries Unknown”, the episode is called “Birth of the Battlegrounds”.
It give us the backstory behind the Battlegrounds, how they were conceived and their evolution.
Besides as a plus, some dark stories, the disturbing truth behind every land.

In addition to this, they are releasing their first live action short film, “Ground Zero”, starring Ma Dong-seok (Don Lee).
The story takes place in TAEGO (part of the PUBG Universe).
Ma Dong-seok plays an infamous prisoner attempting to escape Hosan Prison after inmates try to kill him.
The short film is the presentation of the new TAEGO map that is set to be introduced in the PUBG game on 7 July on PC and 15 July on consoles.
