Tom Hanks returns to continue his box-office gold in new real-life drama, Sully

I have always loved Tom Hanks. The guy has just been releasing box-office gold for decades, and also seems like a nice guy behind the camera. Ok, so I haven’t liked all of his movies, but I like him so much I would watch just about anything.

Now Hanks is back, and we have a trailer and a poster to share with you. Hanks returns, this time under the direction of Clint Eastwood in, Sully. I am sorry folks, it’s not a live-action movie based on the lead character from Monsters Inc (although I think Hanks could pull that off if he really wanted to).

Sully tells the real-life story of an ex-fighter pilot turned commercial pilot.  In 1994, Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger became investigation after performing an impossible emergency crash landing in the Hudson river. All 150 passengers on-board survived the impossible crash. Hanks’ character is then questioned because of the procedures used during the emergency crash landing. He becomes the subject of huge media driven investigation that will threaten his  job and years of experience as a fighter pilot

Sully is written and directed by Clint Eastwood

Here is the official poster that has just been released.
