Everyone’s favourite binge drinking werewolf cop is back with new sequel in Wolfcop 2: Another Wolfcop

The hugely anticipated sequel to 2014’s Wolfcop recently had its premiere at this year’s Fantastik fest and it looks to be better than the first. If you’re a fan of the first movie then –  we can expect the same only with a higher production value.

I had a good chuckle when the official poster arrived. The poster pays tribute to the Sylvester Stallone 1986 action classic Cobra….only Wolfcop does it much better, don’t you agree?

Wolfcop 2. As Badass As Ever

“Alcoholic werewolf cop Lou Garou springs into action when an eccentric businessman with evil intentions seduces Woodhaven’s residents with a new brewery and hockey team in this outrageous horror-comedy sequel.”

It would also seem that our lovable werewolf will be getting his own graphic novels…yay!!! director Lowell Dean now has the opportunity and endless possibilities to explore different worlds without restraints or budgetary issues…

(the news was announced at San Diego Comic-Con)

“From the moment I created WolfCop, I saw him as a larger-than-life character that could exist in many formats. To date, we’ve made two WolfCop movies – and I couldn’t be happier that we’re now bringing him into the world of actual comics! In comic form, WolfCop will be truly unleashed, no longer constrained by the budget of an independent film. More explosions! More monsters! More road trips! I’m so excited to bring Lou Garou and friends into this new realm with Dynamite. The WolfCop adventure is truly just beginning…”

More info to follow as more news is announced on upcoming Wolfcop sequel. I have a funny feeling a screener will be making its way to me in the near future. I sure hope it does!
