If you follow Moviehooker, then you will know that Maggie is a film that I have been following very closely, since the beginning of time (it sure feels that way).

There hasn’t been much news since it was announced, and it was also pulled from it’s world premiere at TIFF at the request of Lionsgate , which was worrying.

I can honestly say that I have been searching everyday for this trailer, for a long time (so long its sort of really sad)

Anyways, the film will now have its first showing at Tribeca on the 22nd of April, with a VOD release following not far behind.

The PG-13 rating is little bit worrying as it pretty much confirms that we won’t be getting a huge amount of gore and violence. I have said before that this isn’t a film that I want to watch because of the gore, but it’s because I think that big Arnie is going to do a great job. I am genuinely looking forward to his performance..and hanging on the hope of him smashing some zombie skulls… while delivering a few one-liners.

Official Plot
A teenage girl in the Midwest becomes infected by an outbreak of a disease that slowly turns the infected into cannibalistic zombies. During her transformation, her loving father stays by her side.
