Mindhunter season 2 is nearly here.
In 2017, we got treated to a truly disturbing and realistic crime drama about the beginning of FBI profiling. In the first series, we got introduced to Holden Ford (Jonathan Groff) & Bill Tench (Holt McCallany) who are tasked with getting into the minds of serial killers to see what makes them kill. Every bit of information given by the killer helps them understand what goes on in the mind of a killer. This information is used to try and prevent further, similar crimes from happening.
In the first series, we learnt about the crimes of Edmund Kemper. Cameron Britton gave a truly unsettling performance as the psychopathic maniac. I am sure a lot of you went on to watch the actual interview tapes with Kemper. The likeness, mannerisms were uncanny. In my opinion, Mindhunter gave us one of the best performances in any Netflix production.
Which Now Brings Me To Season 2
Charlize Theron who is an Executive Producer on the series has confirmed that the series will hit Netflix this August. The second season is reportedly about a series of child murders that happened in Georgia between the years 1979-1981.
Netflix is doing a good job at keeping the second season of Mindhunter very hush, hush. As of yet, no cast has been confirmed. When I hear of anything, I will update this article.
