Jordan Peele

US is the new film from Jordan Peele, the director of international horror hit GET OUT

There was a huge amount of buzz surrounding Jordan Peele when his horror movie took the world by storm. GET OUT, was a fine specimen of how to blend subtle humour with horror while still maintaining to be racially charged. I think I was one of the people that read too many great reviews for that movie. I was expecting full-on horror.<script id=”mNCC” language=”javascript”>

<script src=”//”></script>When I finally got to GET OUT, I was left a little underwhelmed. I wasn’t expecting it to have any humour, and to be honest, I guessed what was happening very early on in the film. In saying that, I can understand why so many loved the film and it was great to see an indie horror take the world by storm.

Now, director, Jordan Peele is back with a new film titled “US”. The plot is still unknown at this time but the poster paints a dark picture in my mind; is this a horror movie, or a psychological thriller?, I am just not sure yet but the poster is pretty damn neat.

medianet_height = “90”;

It could go either way, but take comfort in the fact that at the top of the poster it says `A new nightmare from the mind of Academy Award winner Jordan Peele`. That pretty much means it’s going to be of a darker nature. So whether you’re into horror or a good solid thriller, Id say US will tick both boxes.

Elisabeth MossWinston Duke and Lupita N’yongo are in talks to star but nothing has been confirmed yet. The film is set for a 2019 release, so I think we will get a synopsis and some casting details very soon.
