When we think of French extreme horror, two names always come to mind: Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo. The writers and directors of the French extreme cult classic, Inside. As well as Inside, the duo also gave us a unique fantasy vampire film called Livid. The two also made their English Language debut with Leatherface, an origin story about the younger years of our chainsaw-wielding skin-wearing maniac. So, are more than happy to report that the gruesome twosome is back with a new French horror, drenched in French folklore and gore. It is called Kandisha. Let’s hope that Kandisha is the start of a new wave of extremity!
