The first trailer has arrived for Trainspotting 2 and it made my mouth drop to the ground with excitement.

OK, so I have been extremely busy of late which is great, but it means I have had to cut-back on my moviehooker articles. It’s not intentional, and if MH paid any of my bills, then I would happily be on it morning, noon and night.

When I am not on moviehooker, I am selling movies in the flesh, so in a lot of ways, I am always moviehooking.

I can promise you that I am currently working to get some very experienced and knowledgeable writers onboard with moviehooker. It means that there will be consistency, a proper flow with articles, so my readers won’t miss a thing.

Which now brings me to Trainspotting 2. Again, apologies that this is being posted two days late but it was out of my hands. As the saying goes, ”It’s better later than never.”

The lads are back after 20-years of absence in the first trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to Danny Boyle’s 1999 cult classic Trainspotting.

All our favourite characters return (well the surviving members anyways); Mark Renton (Ewan McGregor) Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick-Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), and everyone’s favourite Scottish sociopath, Begbie (Robert Carlyle) are back for more drink, drugs and who knows what else?.

It’s great to see all the cast return. It’s not very often we will get a sequel like this so enjoy it.

I am glad that Boyle & Co have waited this long to release the second instalment. I am sure they could’ve released many a sequel or prequels just off the back of the huge success of the first film. We all know how good this film is going to be.
