Updated: THE NIGHT COMES FOR US Trailer Has Arrived

The Night Comes For Us is a new ultra-violent thriller from the producers The Raid franchise

I have been waiting years to see (since 2013) The Night Comes For Us go into production. In fact, I had completely forgotten about the movie. I was checking some Iko Uwais fight scenes on YouTube and remembered about it and thought it deserved another search. From what I can gather, the film is already made and will reportedly hit Netflix in JUST 3-weeks. So, for those of you who got introduced to this film recently, count yourself lucky!. I have been waiting for a long time for this to hit our screens.

OFFICIAL PLOT

Ito, a gangland enforcer, returns to his local crime family in Jakarta after a stint with the notorious South East Asian Triad and finds himself trapped in a world of betrayal and chaos as the Triad initiates a bloody campaign of territorial expansion.

I could’ve sworn that I had more than one article about The Night Comes For Us on Moviehooker but it looks like I only published one. It can be read HERE and the post was written in 2013 which gives you an idea of how long I have been waiting for this film to happen.

Before the production went tits-up, Timo Tjahjanto (Macabre, Killers, Headshot) was to direct, Iko Uwais was choreographing the fight scenes and Gareth Evans was to direct the action sequences. The cast included Iko Uwais, Julie Estelle, Joe Taslim, and Sunny Pang. Yayan Ruhian was also listed to star in a major role but his name has disappeared from IMDb. I am not sure if he is still involved with the project, but I sure hope he is.
