Handling The Undead: New Zombie Film Based on a Book by Let the Right One In Author

Need a new zombie fix? well, look no further – Hooking You Up With HANDLING THE UNDEAD

Based on a book by John Ajvide Lindqvist, the author of one of the best vampire tales in existence, Let The Right One In.

Handling The Undead has been confirmed as an official selection for Sundance Film Festival 2024. So, right away, with that news, we sure know that this is a horror film that we’ll want to check out – pronto!

The trailer for Handling The Undead looks to blend the different types of zombie productions, moulding them together to create something fresh and new. I would say that it did remind me of the great French series The Revenant (remade in the English language as The Returned). What I mean by that is that this looks to be a very human story – it still looks CREEPY AF! A story that deals with just how far one would go to spend more time with a recently deceased loved one…even if they do start to crave human flesh.

Official Plot (Neon – YouTube)

On a hot summer day in Oslo, the newly dead awaken. Three families faced with loss try to figure out what this resurrection means and if their loved ones really are back. Based on the book by John Ajvide Lindqvist. A Film by Thea Hvistendahl. Starring Renate Reinsve and Anders Danielsen Lie.

If I had to guess, I would say we are looking at 2025 before we see a wide release. The great thing about being Moviehooker is that I will more than likely get this film before a lot of you MWHAHAHA.

Stay tuned for more information on Handling the Undead – I am going to be with this one every step of the way.

As always, thanks for reading.
