New Trailer For LEATHERFACE

We’ve been waiting years for this film to hit the screens. In the space of one month, we’ve had not one, but two trailers for LEATHERFACE

I can totally understand why people don’t watch trailers. To me those people are higher-beings, they must be here to serve a greater purpose. There’s not a chance I’d be able to resist the temptation of a brand new horror trailer. I’ve respect for those who get to a movie after pre & post production knowing nothing.

French directors Julien Maury and Alexandro Bustillo had me worried for a little while. Leatherface just seemed to drop off the face of the planet. All we had during production was one (maybe 2) posters and a few unsatisfying stills.

Now that the second trailer is here my excitement has once again reached maximum capacity.

Leatherface introduces us to one the most iconic families in horror history.

LEATHERFACE

The problem I always had with the TCM franchise; the films always focused on mainly Leatherface. I mean, there’s much more disturbing stories to tell as every one of his family has at one point most definitely murdered one, or ten people.

LEATHERFACE looks to be heavily focused on the family and his upbringing. We get to witness the torment and abuse that turned Jedidiah Sawyer into the deranged chainsaw wielding maniac we know as LEATHERFACE.

For those of you wondering just how long I have been waiting for this movie…that would be 3-years

OFFICIAL PLOT (YouTube)

Prequel about teenage Leatherface who escapes from a mental hospital with three other inmates, kidnaps a young nurse and takes her on a road trip from hell. Along the way, they are pursued by an equally deranged lawman out for revenge, one of these teens is destined for tragedy and horrors that will destroy his mind, moulding him into the monster we now call Leatherfacehope you enjoy the trailer
