Trailer For Norwegian Black Metal Biopic LORDS OF CHAOS

The trailer for Norwegian black metal biopic Lords Of chaos starring Rory Culkin has arrived.

Lords Of Chaos has been high up on the watch-list since it played at last year’s excellent Fantasia International Film Festival. It follows the crazy, real-life antics of Norwegian black metal band, Mayhem. I am not a fan of black metal, I love my metal music, but black metal…well, it’s just too black!. However, it really doesn’t matter about your musical preference, this is a crazy true story that needs to be told.

Mayhem formed in Oslo, back in 1984 and gained a huge following due to their energetic and chaotic live performances. The band members gave themselves nicknames like “Hellhammer”, “Necrobutcher“, “Blasphemer” and “Maniac“…now that’s some seriously good black metal names, right?.

The band gained more notoriety when they were involved in a series of church burnings and connected to outbursts of violence and eventually murder.

I have said it before but I love the path that Rory Culkin has taken with his acting. The guy is proving himself to be an important part of the indie cinema movement.
