PARASYTE 

A teenager lays asleep with headphones 0n, listening to music. He has no idea that there has been an alien invasion, and that a worm-like alien is trying to enter his body.


His headphones saved him from the alien slithering into his ear, which would’ve led to complete mind control (among other insane shapeshifting abilities).

Instead, the alien burrowed a hole into his hand – when he wakes up he realises that the world around him is now full of evil shapeshifting aliens, he uses his new alien hand to his advantage as it can morph into insanely good weapons.

Parasyte also has a part two that is just as crazy as the first one.

BIG MAN JAPAN

If you’ve ever wanted to watch a B-movie of sorts, about a giant Japanese man who protects his city from a lot of crazy monsters, then look no further, Big Man Japan is exactly that.

I guess it’s a superhero movie, but to me, this is miles more entertaining than the countless movies that now drown out our news feed – so I thought Big Man Japan would be a refreshing change from the norm.

The story follows a guy called Masaru Daisato, who, in proper superhero fashion has an accident with some electricity. This accident has now given him the ability to grow 30 feet tall and become ….BIG MAN JAPAN 

Just as well. His city is under constant threat from man-eating alien creatures.
