I Will Never Leave You Alone (2024) Review

I Will Never Leave You Alone follows Richard, a mute prisoner who gets the chance to get out of prison early. All he has to do is stay in a house for 6 days and try and rid of its evil spirits.

Everyone before him has failed and he is about to find out why as he is thrown into chaos and forced to relive his dark past and face his demons as well as an evil witch haunting the house.

As a confessed lover of witch horror, I have said many times that I have yet to see a witch horror that reaches its full evil, horrifying potential – guys, I may have found my film. I Will Never Leave You Alone offers up some heavy emotional horror. It is graphic, nasty, and triggering – while approaching dark subject matters of depression, loss, grief and regret with brutal force.

I also have a cool little detail that I’m 99.9% was intentional – if it wasn’t, then it was unintentionally genius. Richard was imprisoned for 6 years, his required time to rid the evil spirits from the house was 6 days, and he was the 6th guest who tried to exercise the house of its unholiness. Put those altogether and we get “666”. I always feel like I’ve deciphered some amazing code when I notice these little details.
