Street Trash Remake Gets Goopy First Trailer

In case you didn’t know, 80s cult classic shocker Street Trash has a brand new remake and we have the trailer to share with you all.

Sometimes you hear of a new remake or reboot and actually get excited because you know of who is involved and Street Trash one of those films, and here’s why!

Ryan Kruger burst on the scene with with his trippy South African sci-fi Fried Barry which was based on a short of the same name. If you haven’t seen Fried Barry then I urge you to go and check it out. It follows a homeless drug addict called Barry who hilariously ends up as a host for an alien who takes him drug-fuelled joy ride through the Cape Town.

So, if you’re one of the lucky ones that has seen Fried Barry then you will know what I am on about when I say Kruger is he man for the job. Fred Barry was a trippy psychedelic horror full of grotesque body horror

The original Street Trash focused on a secret government experiment to kill all of the homeless people and Kruger’s new vision is a modernised take on the classic body horror. Folks, I am always happy to say write words “this is not for the faint of heart, it is super gruesome”.

Premiering in LA this weekend, stay tuned for more info on Street Trash. I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

OFFICIAL PLOT

A group of homeless misfits must fight for survival when they discover a plot to exterminate every homeless person in the city.
