It’s Here – Check Out The Breathtaking Trailer For DUNE

Denis Villeneuve’s Dune reboot has just dropped the official trailer and as expected – it looks beautifully epic!

The day is almost here, after all this waiting and the setbacks, Dune is finally getting released. I thought the trailer was everything it was going to be – a true sci-fi epic!. However, I have to say approach this trailer with caution. It is extremely long (3.39) and really seems to give away a hell of a lot of footage. Still, I couldn’t help but watch it. I am happy I did, and man, that was one big sandworm!

Villeneuve’s reboot is a remake of David Lynch’s sci-fi cult classic which was released in 1984. They are both based on a novel of the same name by
Frank Herbert

Here’s the cast for the upcoming remake

  • Oscar Isaac
  • Timothée Chalamet
  • Rebecca Ferguson
  • Jason Momoa
  • Dave Bautista
  • Stellan Skarsgård
  • Josh Brolin

OFFICIAL PLOT (HBOMax)

Feuding royals, a deadly planet and a gifted young man who holds the destiny of everyone in his hands. Born to Duke Leto Atreides (Oscar Isaac) and Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson), Paul (Timothée Chalamet) inherits stewardship of Arrakis (aka Dune), a dangerous desert wasteland that’s home to vigilant natives (Zendaya as Chani) and melange (aka spice), the most precious resource in the entire universe. Known to extend life and grant its user with superhuman intellect and faster-than-light speed, they set out on a mining expedition to save what’s left from malevolent forces that would do anything to get it. As they face mind-bending realities, raging rebellions, and giant sandworms, the future becomes clear: only those who can conquer fear will survive
