Raised By Wolves: New Ridley Scott HBO Sci-Fi Series Looks So Promising

Raised by Wolves Trailer HBO Ridley Scott

Ridley Scott is back with a new HBO sci-fi series Raised By Wolves

And wow, the trailer for Raised By Wolves looks so damn good.

The new sci-fi series will premiere on HBO Max on September 3rd. The first season will consist of 10-episodes.

I know of a lot of people who are going to be super-excited about this trailer. Raised by Wolves co-stars Travis Fimmel aka Ragnar Lothbrok from Vikings. Other cast includes Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Niamh Algar, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, Jordan Loughran, Aasiya Shah, & Ivy Wong

The series was created by Aaron Guzikowski, the writer of the amazing Denis Villeneuve thriller, Prisoners. He is also the writer of the remake of Papillon, Contraband and The Red Road, a series starring Game Of Thrones star Jason Momoa.

The story is about a robot who is tasked with raising children on a planet after the Earth has been destroyed.

And yup, we also have some creepy 4-legged alien beings. I hope we have a lot more alien activity than what we get to see in the trailer.

Maybe it was just me, but I totally got a Prometheus vibe from the trailer. I ain’t complaining about that, Prometheus looked stunning but I just couldn’t get into the film. I am just hoping this isn’t one of those trailers that just show all the action and good bits. But I have to say, what I just saw…I was very impressed.

Official Plot

Mother was programmed to protect everyone after Earth had been destroyed. When the big bad wolf shows up, she is the one we must trust.

I hope you enjoy the trailer. Check it out below.

The bad news is, unless you live in the States, or use a VPN, Raised by Wolves won’t be available to watch in Ireland or the U.K. I think it is time I got me one of those VPN’s. HBO Max have some really amazing content that just seems to be expanding. Raised By Wolves is going to be one of those series’ everyone is talking about. Trust me.

As always, thanks for reading.
