UPDATED: IT CHAPTER 2 Wraps Filming – Moviehooker

IT CHAPTER 2 HAS WRAPPED FILMING;STAR, BILL HADER CALLS THE FINAL INSTALMENT “VERY EMOTIONAL”

The hugely anticipated sequel to Stephen King’s IT has wrapped filming after a whopping 86-day shoot.

Star Bill Hader had a chat with Indiewire about his experience and what we can expect from the second and final instalment.

“It’s really great. It’s very emotional.
The cast is amazing… It’s really scary obviously,
but I was surprised at how emotional it was.
It’s really a story about these people
and this kind of trauma that they all went through.”

The first chapter took in a shockingly impressive $700m worldwide. This was the biggest opening in the history of horror film.

When the cast for IT Chapter 2 was first announced, I have to admit, I wasn’t a fan of some of the choices.

Now as the film draws nearer to release, I can’t help but get a little bit excited. In saying that, I wasn’t overly impressed with the first instalment. I thought it was decent popcorn, horror entertainment. A perfect film for a load of teens in a cinema, it just didn’t have the same effect on me as it apparently had on others.

I guess I am a sucker for believing the hype. And yes! – there is more hype. Muschietti and co have promised us gullible fools that IT Chapter 2 is going to be way darker than the first chapter. Of course, I believe him. My problem is, I always do.

The cast for It Chapter 2 is as follows

James McAvoy (Bill),
Bill Hader (Richie),
Isaiah Mustafa (Mike),
Andy Bean (Stanley)
Jay Ryan (Ben)
Jessica Chastain (Beverly),
Bill Skarsgard (Pennywise The Clown)

Now that filming has wrapped, I hope we start to see some set pics and maybe even a teaser trailer soon.

I will update this article as more news is announced. As soon as I know, you guys will.

As always, thanks for reading.
