Poster + Trailer For A24’S New Sci-Fi HIGH LIFE Starring Robert Pattinson

Check out the trailer + poster for new sci-fi HIGH LIFE

High Life is a new film by Claire Dennis. It stars Robert Pattison, Mia Goth, Andre Benjamin (Andre 3000) and Juliette Binoche.

Director/writer Claire Dennis is best known (to me anyway) as the writer and director of 2001’s French film Trouble Every Day which starred Vincent Gallo, Tricia Vessey, and Béatrice Dalle. Trouble Every Day was one of the first films that got me hooked on French extreme cinema. If you haven’t checked it out, then I advise you to do so.

Her new film High Life follows a father & daughter who wake up on a ship heading towards a black hole. The only other people on the ship are a doctor and a group of death row inmates. When they realise that there’s no returning from this doomed mission their primal instincts kick-in and a battle for survival begins. The trailer looks great, it reminded me more of Danny Boyle’s, Sunshine or Paul W.S. Anderson’s cult classic mindfuck Event Horizon than films like Alien. So, I think we’re in for some great mind-bending sci-fi.

Pattinson has proved himself time and time again with flawless indie performances that he is one of the finest actors working today. That’s something I never thought I would be writing, but it’s the truth…and I dare you to argue with me.

High Life is one of those movies that managed to get past me. The trailer below was uploaded 3-months ago so I am a little late to the game. In saying that, I haven’t heard anyone mention it either, so hopefully this is fresh movie news for you too!.

We all know that A24 get behind a film then it’s definitely one to watch out for.

If you haven’t checked the trailer, here it is. I hope you enjoy.

As always, thanks for reading.
