10 New Horrors You Need To Know About

Wow, what a fantastic year for horror fans. I don’t know how many lists I’ve written this year already but it doesn’t look like I will be stopping anytime soon. Here’s another one featuring 10 new horrors.

Below you’ll find a new list of 10 upcoming horrors. As always, we have a wide variety of sub-genres so there will be something here for every type of horror fan. Need more? type “horror” into the search bar for more horror lists.

ODDITY

Oddity looks like a superbly creepy horror drenched in grief and loss. From Irish writer Damien McCarthy, the film deals with a woman who is trying to understand how her twin sister died by using a wooden mannequin that somehow communicates with her.

LUMINA

Lumina sounds like fun independent sci-fi. The film has been described as an alien abduction movie (which we don’t get enough of). It follows 4 friends who travel to a dessert in a desperate search for their abducted friend but what they find puts them in the same otherworldly fate as their lost friend.

AMSTERDAM ALERT

This one sounds too real. Without a doubt, this will leave a cinematic scar. Described as modern day Threads, Amsterdam Alert is about the people of Amsterdam who receive a message on their phone: they have 30 mins to evacuate the city before a nuclear missile destroys the city and every living thing within its radius.

WE PUT THE WORLD TO SLEEP

We Put The World To Sleep follows two actors who get lost in the characters they are playing in an apocalyptic movie. Unhinged, the two set out to put an end to the world…for real.

BEEZEL

Who ordered some straight-up witchcraft horror? well, folks, this is what we’re getting with Beezel. Another flick broughtto us by the Terrifier team. Beezel tells the story of generations of people in a New England house that all succumb to the evil that waits beneath their floors: A blind witch.
