A brand new cut of Deadpool 2 with additional footage to hit cinemas this December
A new poster was just released for what looked like an entire new Deadpool movie. I was thinking they secretly shot a new new Deadpool Christmas Special to add extra profanity and gore to the festive season. This ain’t the case…
What we have with Once Upon A Deadpool is a re-cut of Deadpool 2. This time, it has been re-edited with additional footage for a PG-13 audience.
Of course, my first reaction was “this is the most un-Deadpool ever” but reading the details, I have to say, this is a great idea and I am 100% behind it.
How can you cut something for a younger crowd when most of the script and content are for an “older” audience?. I have no idea what they have don’t but it is said that this new cut will be only 3-minutes shorter than the original.
The reasoning behind Once Upon A Deadpool
It’s going to make an absolute fortune, that’s for sure, R-rated or not. But, for every ticket bought, $1 is donated to a charity called Fudge Cancer. Obviously, this is the only time we can accept a kiddie-version of Deadpool. If you can’t get behind this great cause, your soul is as black as sin…just saying.
