Trailer For New Netflix Zombie Series KINGDOM

It has been on our radar since pre-production. Now we can finally share with you a trailer for upcoming Netflix Zombie Series KINGDOM

From the director of the epic South Korean actioner, A Hard Day and survival drama, The Tunnel. Kingdom is a new Netflix zombie series set in the medieval Joseon period. A plague hits South Korea turning infected into zombie-like flesh devouring maniacs.

Netflix must have high hopes for Kingdom. It was announced last Thursday at a zomference in Singapore by Netflix CEO, Reed Hastings that a second season has ALREADY been confirmed.

“It is really rare that we greenlight a second season
of a show before the first has been seen,”

The trailer looks great, it’s short, get’s straight to the point without giving too much of the plot away. The release date is January 25th, 2019, so put that into your Netflix binge diary.

Set in Korea’s medieval Joseon period, it tells the story of a crown prince who is sent on a suicide mission to investigate a mysterious plague that’s spreading across his country. The truth threatens the kingdom when he discovers that it is an atrocious epidemic in the form of zombies.

Here is the trailer. I hope you enjoy.

We can also expect to see more South Korean zombie action in the upcoming film Rampant. It seems to be set in the same time period as our upcoming Netflix zombie series Kingdom.

As well as Rampant, a sequel to the worldwide zombie hit Train To Busan is well into production. The follow-up to 2016’s Train To Busan will see the infection spread through all of Korea. It has been officially titled PENINSULA.

That’s it for now. Make sure to check back in a day or two for a brand new South Korean movie list. This one, I focus on all that’s worthy of your time on Netflix.

As always, thanks for reading.
