Ozark To Return To Netflix For Fourth & Final Season

Yes, folks, Ozark is finally coming to an end on Netflix. The Byrd Family will say their goodbyes to their dodgy cartel-owned criminal empire after season 4.

Before I start writing anything, I am sure you all know that I am a huge fan of the Ozark series…every season! couldn’t get enough, binged them all as soon as they were released.

Although I am a little gutted, I think it is a great idea for the series to end. There was never any plan — or ongoing plans to keep the series running. They’re going out with a bang. Oh yeah, I didn’t mention that Ozark Season 4 is going to be a monster 14-episode season!.

Netflix has split the fourth and final season into two instalments. So, I guess you could say we are getting two more seasons…they’re just both season 4. And when we get that cliffhanger, and YOU know will get a serious jaw-dropper at the end of S04 Part.1, we won’t have to wait a couple of years to see what happens next.

Netflix Original Series OZARK

Official Plot (if you could call it that)

“The new season will mark the final chapter in the Byrde family’s journey from suburban Chicago life to their criminal enterprise in the Ozarks.”

Netflix

If we take the strength of the writing in the first few seasons of The Walking Dead compared to The Walking Dead we have right now, it is clear that the writing just ain’t up to much these days. But, they don’t care as it is still bringing in the viewers. Or, we take a series like Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad was written and was always going to end after the fifth season. No one was ready to say goodbye to that beautiful blue meth and Walter White, but the producers just said “fuck you all” and they went out all-guns-blazing. Breaking Bad will now always be remembered for leaving on a high-note. The Walking Dead will be remembered for being way too long and getting super-cheesy.

Well, that’s my thoughts on it anyway. Best to end Ozark after season 4 and go out with a bang rather than slip into a dull void of mediocrity.

That’s all for now. I will update this article as more news is announced. As always, thanks for reading.
