The sequel to the sci-fi horror hit, A Quiet Place that starred Emily Blunt and John Krasinski has just made a little noise
Ok, so it ain’t much…but it’s something. SlashFilm has reported one of the newest cast members (Brian Tyree Henry)has been the first to break the silence about what to expect in A Quiet Place 2.
“We’ll see more of that family continuing to survive and finding out that they’re not the only ones. And I think that we’re also going to get a few answers to the origin of where and how this whole thing happened. I think that people want to know that. But I think you’re just going to see another side of it…more of humanity that survived this thing in this next story.”
I think it is a great idea, but I guess it’s Hollywood tradition now to tell the origins of a story. I have no doubt in my mind that this is going to be a huge franchise. And with the amount of cash that the first one made, A Quiet Place 2 is only the beginning. You never know, we may even get a Starship Troopers and A Quiet Place crossover..anything is possible these days. And yes, I just thought of that movie mash-up, and yes, I would like to see that movie happen, please. So, if you’re a big-shot movie producer, get in touch, I have some good ideas!.
Now..where was I? before I came up with the greatest movie crossover of all time?
A Quiet Place 2 will see the return of the surviving members of the first film. If you haven’t seen it yet, please watch it now or it will get spoiled by someone. I will keep them quiet in this article but as news unfolds I can’t promise I will be as careful in future articles
New cast members include Brian Tyree Henry and our very own Cillian Murphy.
John Krasinski who made his directorial debut with A Quiet Place will return to direct the sequel. The original/sequel screenplays (which must have been very interesting and unusual table-readings) was written by John Krasinski, Scott Beck and Bryan Woods.
