Yes, you heard that right – Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson is set to star in a new horror comedy called Bjorn of the Dead and we’re already ready for it!
The Iron Maiden frontman will battle hordes of the undead, possibly while singing Abba songs when his Abba tribute act is trapped in a building along with other tribute act musicians and must fight off a zombie apocalypse.
Deadline revealed the news in an exclusive.
The project has just been announced so we could be waiting a while until we see any further development. However, I have a feeling that there will be a lot of buzz around Bjorn of the Dead as the premise just sounds like a hell of a lot of fun. And, name me one person in the fucking world that doesn’t want to see Bruce Dicksinson battle the undead while singing Abba songs?
Bjore of the Dead will be directed by Elza Kephart (Slaxx – yes, the killer jeans movie, available on Shudder). It is written by Austin Dickinson from an original story by Andrew Prendergast.
Stay tuned for more information on Bjorn of the Dead. As always, thanks for reading.
