Before Timo Tjahjanto amazes Western audiences with his English-language debut of the highly anticipated Bob Odenkirk action sequel Nobody 2, he will be dishing out a new ultra-violent film on Netflix called The Shadow Strays, and I am here to tell you all about it.
The Shadow Strays has been high up on our watchlist as soon as we heard it was happening. As a huge fan of the Mo Bros and Timo, I do not doubt if he is tackling the revenge sub-genre, then this will be a dish served bloody. I have to say this, if you are unfamiliar with his work with Kimo Stamboel or his individually directed films ten you need to check them out. If it is action or horror, Timo gets it exactly right.
We can also be guaranteed that the fight choreography and camera work will be on another level with maximum carnage and bloodshed.

The Shadow Strays sounds like a straightforward tale of vengeance about a young assassin called 13 who messes up a mission in Japan. Her superior takes the fall for her mistake but banishes her to Indonesia. She then meets a young boy who is caught up with a nasty crime syndicate and decides to do what she does best. Kill.
