STREAM
I’m not sure that Stream will be a film I’d like but I know for sure that this new slasher from the Terrifier 2 team will find its audience. The premise sounds pretty cool though. A family are trapped inside a hotel where 4 deranged killers battle it out to achieve the most creative kill. Judging from the title, all these kills will be streamed online to a bunch of weird sickos who love to watch the pain and suffering of others.
DEADLY GAMES
I don’t have a lot of information to go for Deadly Games. The film follows 4 female social media influencers who travel to a strange island owned by some crypto billionaire. When they arrive they are made to partake in some sort of deadly game with the winner receiving a huge cash prize.
BRUTE 1976
Are you a fan of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and The Hills Have Eyes? (remake is much better, I’m sorry), of course, you are. Well, Brute 1976 is a love letter to those horror classics and follows a group of young adults who are forced to make a stop in a small town called Savage. This town has been abandoned for years and is steeped in a history of blood and violence. The group soon learn that they are not alone, a family of murderous hillbillies (I think)have taken up residency in Savage.
THINE EARS SHALL BLEED
Set in the 1800s, Thine Ears Shall Bleed follows a group of restless, tiresome travellers who are travelling in a wagon. When passing a wooded area, they hear a strange sound coming from the trees. The sound is unlike anything they’ve heard before and believe that this is the sound of God and they’ve been chosen. They soon come to the realisation that it isn’t god and something evil is waiting in the woods, something that will make their ears bleed and something that not let them leave alive.
35TH STREET
Okay, we may be waiting a while for 35TH Street but I am gonna throw it in here anyway for obvious reasons. 35TH Street is a new American action horror from South Korean horror maestro Yeon Sang-ho.
The plot is being kept under wraps but expect greatness as this gem is produced by DiCaprio’s Appian Way and written by Sang-ho and long-time collaborator Ryu Yong-jae (Parasyte: The Grey). Stay tuned for more information on this one…you know we will be following this every step of the way.
