Havoc: Gareth Evans’ Netflix Actioner is Closer To Release

We can thank the cinematic Gods that Havoc, the new actioner from The Raid 1&2 director, Gareth Evans is now back in production after a worrying absence of nearly three years

Shot in 2021 the Gareth Evans action film, Havoc was one of the most highly anticipated films and Netflix Original releases. Sadly, the project seemed to just have disappeared casting a cloud of uncertainty on wether we would ever get to see the Tom Hardy actioner.https://www.instagram.com/p/C9KCoauImkD/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

That was up until a few days ago when the director of The Raid movies took to his Instagram to update us all and put us at ease.

Contrary to rumours over the last 2 and a half years – today actually marks the first day of additional photography to finally complete HAVOC. It’s been a long old road filled with scheduling issues, strikes and more scheduling issues while we’ve worked to get the band back together. But here we are and away we go.” said Evans.

So, it looks like the movie is now complete or very close to it. One thing is for sure, this is going to be the bloodiest and craziest Welsh film in history and we are so here for it.

HAVOC – OFFICAL PLOT (IMDb)

After a drug deal gone wrong, a bruised detective must fight his way through the criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son, unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.

Havoc stars Tom Hardy, Luis Guzman, Timothy Olyphant and Forest Whittaker. Stay tuned for more information as the news is announced. We’re happy that the ball is rolling again with Havoc and we all know that this one will be more than worth the wait.
