We are back with a brand new list of new K-Dramas. It’s crazy, South Korea is pumping out high-quality content like there’s no tomorrow. There’s some amazing stuff featured below so get ready to add them all to your watchlist. Let’s get to it!
CHIMERA

A new South Korean serial killer detective drama. Chimera focuses on a huge explosion that leads the police to a string of unsolved serial murders. 35-years later, a body is found with striking similarities
This new K Drama looks to have only started airing in Korea in October so we will be waiting a while to see it. Season 1 looks to consist of 16-episodes which is exactly what we got with the fantastic serial killer drama Beyond Evil (Now on Netflix). That’s how you do a proper season and keep us K-Drama fanatics at bay.
HAPPINESS

Set in a near-apocalyptic future where viruses have become a part of normality, a new apartment complex full ofnewly-homed residents is quickly sealed off and quarantined trapping them inside. As the unknown virus spreads, so do each other’s trust and paranoia.
This sounds exactly like the sort of series I will love. On the outside the plot sort of feels like Rec but I have no idea if what we’re are facing is going to be zombies or just a virus. Gimme the zombie’s Godammit!
DR BRAIN

It looks like Apple TV has discovered the power and rising popularity of K-drama and have jumped on the K-drama bandwagon. Again, just like many other recent greats, Dr Brain is based on a Korean webtoon.
Dr Brain is a sci-fi/fantasy series that focuses on a brain scientist who is grieving a personal loss. He then finds out he is able to tap into the minds of the deceased and uses this method to find out clues to who destroyed his life.
This sound like a brilliant concept for a series. Starring the great Sun-kyun LeeĀ (Parasite)
THE DEVIL JUDGE

Set in a dystopian near-future 3 judges get sick and tired of the law system and create their own televised court/reality show to punish evil men and women in his own violent and lawless kind of justice.
This series has been getting phenomenal reviews and again you can expect huge viewing with 16-episodes in the first season. Unlike many other webtoon adaptations; Hellbound, Strangers From Hell & Squid Game, Devil Judge has flipped the formula and a webtoon remake is currently in development.
THE WITCHES DINER

Described as a horror/comedy series, The Witches Diner tells the story of desperate individuals who are willing to trade their souls for a mysterious meal that promises to grant them their deepest wishes but end up selling their souls to a witch.
An interesting premise. We don’t get to see witches make an appearance in K-Dramas.
This series is supposedly a mini-series and has a total of 8-episodes.
