Terrifier 3 Trailer: Art is About To Ruin Christmas

Well, we can finally share with you the official teaser trailer for Damien Leone’s highly anticipated Terrifier 3

Honestly, the Terrifier franchise is something I didn’t think I’d like. Another killer clown movie? The clown sub-genre seemed too oversaturated it was hard to tell one flick from the next.

When I finally got to check out the movies I was impressed. The gore was low-budget, believable, nasty and extremely well done. Even as a self-confessed gorehound aficionado, I found myself squirming at some of the kill scenes.

David Howard Thornton who plays Art The Clown has tapped into fresh killer clown territory: The mime clown. This approach is just downright terrifying. Add the black makeup and teeth and you have a character that looks like an unimaginable nightmare. Apart from Art’s twisted, bloody humour – if you’re face-to-face with Art the Clown, you’re going to be terrified, I know I’d be. His creepy clown factor goes all the way up to 11.

There was some sort of genre jump between Terrifier 1+2. Maybe I need to rewatch them but I can’t remember Art being a supernatural being but I don’t care Terrifier is all about the gnarly kills.

If I remember correctly, Damien Leone, the creator of Terrifier had the backing of some major production company off the back of the success of Terrifier 2. Due to the extreme content, this production pulled out of Terrifier 3. If that is true, that is impressive.

This will mark the 4th film that features Art the Clown, All Hallows’ Eve and Terrifier 1+2+3. Laura LaVera will return as Sienna Shaw and appearances from Victoria Heyes, Samantha Scaffidi and wrestling legend Chris Jericho (Dark Match).

I’m all about Art making blood angels!
