Bertrand Bonello’s (NOCTURAMA, ZOMBI CHILD) visionary sci-fi epic THE BEAST starring BAFTA-nominated actors Léa Seydoux (NO TIME TO DIE, BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOUR & THE FRENCH DISPATCH) and George MacKay (1917, TRUE HISTORY OF THE KELLY GANG & FEMME) had its world premiere at the 2023 Venice Film Festival to great acclaim and recently showcased at the London Film Festival. The thought-provoking film, which spans three time periods, draws inspiration from Henry James’s evocative short story, The Beast in the Jungle and will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on 31st May.

In a near-future world dominated by artificial intelligence, where human emotions are perceived as a threat, Gabrielle (Lea Seydoux) embarks on a journey to purify her DNA by revisiting her past lives. During this process, she reconnects with Louis (George MacKay), her great love. However, a sense of foreboding and fear grips her as she anticipates an impending catastrophe.
