News: Flesh Of The Gods – New vampire Film from Mandy director

Well, this is some exciting news to report – are you ready for Flesh Of The Gods?

Flesh Of Gods is being described as a violent vampire movie which is currently in pre-production. Sadly, this means we will be waiting a while to see a release but I have a feeling that this one is going to be worth the wait.

Starring Oscar Isaac and Kristen Stewart, Flesh of the Gods is an 80s-set hedonistic vampire movie from Panos Cosmatos, the visionary director behind the trippy, nightmarish psychedelic blood-soaked masterpiece, Mandy starring Nicolas Cage and Andrea Risebouourgh

With Cosmatos involved as director, we already know what we can expect. I think Flesh Of The Gods has just shot up to one of my most anticipated upcoming releases.

Kristen Stewart is no stranger to horror with Underwater, the Cthulhu-based sea creature feature with Vincent Cassell. As for Ossac, I don’t think I have seen him in a horror movie. So, to see him in a vampire flick directed by Panos Cosmatos will no doubt show us a side of Isaac we have never seen before…and I can not wait to be able to report more on Flesh of the Gods.

Okay, not that you need me to sell this any more to you, I know you’re hooked already, just like me. But I do have some more great news about this flick. Yes, Flesh of the Gods is also written by…are you ready? Kevin Walker – if that name isn’t ringing any bells then he is the writer behind one of the best serial killer movies in the world: Se7en (he also wrote the new Fincher movie, The Killer which is now available to stream on Netflix). So, yes, isn’t that one hell of a team for a vampire movie?

Flesh of the Gods – Official Plot

Flesh of the Gods is set in “glittering ’80s L.A.,” where married couple Raoul and Alex each evening descend from their luxury skyscraper condo and head into the city’s electric nighttime realm. When they cross paths with a mysterious and enigmatic figure known as Nameless and her hard-partying cabal, the pair are seduced into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills and violence.

Stay tuned for more information. We will be following this one every step of the way.
