Brand New Horror Movies Hitting Our Screens Soon

I am back with a brand new list of recently released or upcoming horror films. We have some amazing stuff coming our way and something for everyone

From killer, mutated dogs to killer spiders, body horror and supernatural plagues to humans being hunted for fun. I think it’s safe to say that there will be a movie for every horror hound in the list of New Horror Movies below. Let’s get to it.

PROJECT SILENCE

A new South Korean horror. Chaos erupts after a huge road traffic accident traps a lot of people on a bridge. As if things ain’t bad enough, a military convoy carrying a dangerous top-secret weapon has also crashed. The military anciently unleashed their deadly, four-legged genetically mutated dogs on all the survivors.

WHEN EVIL LURKS

When Evil Lurks is the new film from the director of super popular horror, Terrified. A supernatural plague is infecting a small village and two brothers must battle the evil before it consumes everything and everyone.

Another film I can probably add to my list of Extreme Horror Movies because the images I have seen of When Evil Lurks are gnarly af! Shudder has picked up the rights and it will premiere on Shudder on October 20th.

THE ANIMAL KINGDOM

A new sci-fi that sounds really unique. A father and son must find their way through a new dnagerous world where humans have been mutating into different species of animals.

The Animal Kingdom also stars Romain Duris who is one of my favouite French actors. If this man stars in a film then you know you’re in for a good time.

YOU’LL NEVER FIND ME

You’ll Never Find Me looks to be a psychological horror film with only a handful of cast members. It follows a man called Patrick who lives an isolated life at the back of a run-down caravan park. After a huge storm, a woman comes banging on his door looking for shelter. As the night goes on she begins to realise that she may have made a big mistake as Patrick starts to show signs that he is severely mentally unstable.

INFESTED

The reviews for Infested have started to come in and they have been fantastic. If you are scared of spiders then you may move on to the next movie because this one is meant to be terrifying.

A highly venomous killer spider brought back from an exotic country gets loose. It breeds and multiplies by the millions and then attacks the suburbs of a small French town.

TIGER STRIPES

Tiger Stripes is a horror film about an 11-year-old girl who begins to go through horrifying body transformations.

That’s all I know about this one. Sounds like we could have some new body horror on the horizon.

THE DEEP DARK

The Deep Dark is a new creature feature from France. An ancient bloodthirsty beast awakenings after miners and a professor fail to get samples causing a landslide, trapping them in with very little air, no way out and a creature looking to rip them all to shreds

This sounds like it could be one of those horror movies like The Decesnt. People are trapped in small places with constant fear, dread, isolation and smothering claustrophobia.

WE ARE ZOMBIES

OK, this one just sounds ridiculous…that’s why it goes on the list. A city is overrun by the “living impaired” also known as “Non-Cannibal Zombies”. A group of people must fight off a bad corporation and a gang of criminals to try and save their kidnapped grandma.

Shut up and take my money.

WAKE UP

Wake Up is our new favourite “hunting humans” movie. I haven’t even seen this one yet and I can confirm just that. A group of environmentalists hide in an IKEA-like superstore to protest their deforestation policy by defacing and vandalising. What they don’t know is that they have awakened the mean hunting spirit of the night watchman. A man who cracks and begins to hunt them down, with no mercy, one by one.

This is meant to be a brutal watch and another one I will be adding to my new extreme horror movie list. Do not be expecting a happy sugar-coated ending with this one, folks.

That’s it for this list of new horror movies. As always, thanks for reading.
